The relatives of a 14-year-old boy who was fatally stabbed on a bus in southeast London are appalled by rap verses that boast about the crime.
Kelyan Bossaka was riding the 472 bus along Woolwich Church Road in Woolwich when he was attacked and murdered on Tuesday.
Authorities are actively searching for those responsible, yet no arrests have been made as of now.
Earlier this week, his grieving mother Mary Bokassa, age 50, expressed to Metro how her ‘compassionate and gentle’ son had fallen into gang involvement after being groomed and exploited at a tender age.
Now, rap lyrics that glorify the murder have begun circulating online.
The verses, shared alongside numerous tributes, mention Kelyan by his rap handle, Grippa.
The post declares: ‘Caught Grippa lackin’ on the 472 (bus). Knife in my jacket, it’s do or die.
‘He attempted to leap off, but the doors don’t open, hah.’
Jacques Tizie, a family acquaintance representing Mary today, expressed that the lyrics were yet another devastating reminder as she endeavored to come to terms with the loss of her sole child.
He stated to Metro: ‘These types of lyrics are abhorrent and astonishing. Mary visited the crime scene yesterday and she is utterly distraught.
‘This is an insurmountable burden for her. The authorities need to examine who shared that and determine if they are complicit in any way.
‘We urge the perpetrator to surrender themselves. The prevalence of gang violence in this area is unbearable. How many young lives must be lost?’

He indicated that the family has received minimal communication from the authorities and are grappling to understand why Kelyan was targeted.
‘We are in the dark,’ he continued. ‘The family seeks clarity. We are looking for justice.’
Jacques remarked that Kelyan, who aspired to be a chef and was an enthusiastic football player, had ‘a good soul’ but ‘external influences affected him’.
‘At the time he was attacked, he was heading towards Woolwich,’ he mentioned. ‘He was striving to get back on course – he was performing well academically.
‘He was determined to escape the cycle of violence.’

Jacques expressed that more action is needed to combat gangs and remove knives from the streets.
Speaking at the location on Tuesday, Deputy Commander Louise Sargent stated: ‘It is with great sadness that I announce the death of a 14-year-old boy this afternoon. The first alert was raised by a local officer conducting patrols.’
‘Paramedics treated a 14-year-old boy at the site who had incurred stab wounds, but unfortunately, he died shortly after the medical team arrived.’
‘Our thoughts at this moment are with the family and friends of the victim.’
‘This is a horrific act, and I cannot fathom what they must be experiencing during this challenging time.’
‘We are diligently working to identify and apprehend those responsible.’
Keylan was apparently involved in an ongoing postcode conflict in Woolwich.
The teenager’s demise follows just two weeks after he paid tribute online to his friend, Daejaun Campbell, 15, who was fatally stabbed in Woolwich back in September.
