Festivalgoers Advised to Beware of ‘Double Dosage’ Ecstasy Pills
This year, attendees at Glastonbury festival have been cautioned about the presence of potentially life-threatening ecstasy pills.
A drug welfare organization, The Loop, raised concerns after detecting risky pills in the UK during drug screenings conducted before Glastonbury.
Tests identified pills containing over 300mg of MDMA, equivalent to around three times the typical adult dosage.
Despite the festival excitement at Worthy Farm in Somerset with headliners like Shania Twain, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Paul McCartney, individuals accustomed to weaker pills and younger festival participants may face heightened risks from these potent substances, according to The Guardian.
