Sharing a picture of William with his three children, the Prince and Princess of Wales added a caption: ‘Happy birthday Papa, we all adore you so much! x’
In addition, King Charles conveyed his birthday wishes to his son with a charming photo of the duo from William’s infancy.
Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales was born second in line to the throne at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, at 9:03 pm on June 21, 1982.
He arrived weighing 7lb 1 1/2oz and was the first child of the then-Prince and Princess of Wales.
William has encountered a challenging year with both his wife, the Princess of Wales, and his father, the King, being diagnosed with cancer.
Nevertheless, he was seen alongside Denmark’s King Frederick yesterday as their teams faced off in Frankfurt, Germany, where the Three Lions drew 1-1 in their second tournament match.
