British tennis sensation Katie Boulter has declared her engagement to Australian tennis player Alex de Minaur.
Boulter, aged 28, has been in a relationship with 25-year-old De Minaur for over four years and on Monday morning posted a photo of the duo together – with a sparkling ring adorning her finger.
“We’ve kept a delightful secret,” she wrote in her caption, accompanied by a smiling emoji.
A multitude of well-wishers left their congratulatory messages in the comments section of her announcement.
While the exact date for their wedding remains uncertain, the talented duo may find themselves in direct rivalry at the United Cup in Australia early next year.
Great Britain and Australia have been placed in the same group for the prestigious tournament.
She recently informed Sky Sports News that she “would not express excitement at the thought of competing against him again”, with De Minaur currently ranked ninth worldwide.
“Clearly, he is a top-10 competitor, he understands the game of tennis,” she added, while expressing she is “eagerly anticipating” the match.
“There’s a personal aspect to it too, which is challenging but also fantastic for bragging rights.”
Boulter, who is ranked 24th in the world and holds the title of Britain’s female number one, has previously stated they have “supported each other in numerous ways”.

“Primarily, he’s there for guidance,” she conveyed to Sky Sports News earlier this month.
“He has considerable experience, so I must heed his advice and I don’t mind being attentive to him occasionally.
“I’m not sure if he appreciates my input, but he knows what he’s doing. He has been involved in the sport for a considerable time, despite being relatively young.
“He possesses tremendous experience and has already encountered so much.”
