Law enforcement officials have initiated an urgent search for a food delivery cyclist following a rape incident involving a man in Earl’s Court.
The individual, in his 30s, was approached by the man on a bicycle around midnight on October 4 in Hesper Mews.
According to the Metropolitan Police, the two conversed for a short period before the assault occurred.
The suspect, who was carrying a food delivery bag, is described as being in his 20s, of white descent, with dark-colored hair and ‘a notably large angular nose’.
He was dressed entirely in black attire.
Following the assault, the suspect exited the area, riding away from Hesper Mews and turning into Bramham Gardens.
Authorities have disseminated CCTV images of the suspect and are calling on witnesses to step forward.
The Metropolitan Police stated: ‘Detectives have now released a CCTV image of the individual they wish to identify, captured inside a nearby shop, and are encouraging anyone who recognizes him to get in touch.
‘They are also reaching out to individuals residing in Hesper Mews, or anyone present during the early hours of Friday, October 4, to consider whether they may have witnessed or overheard anything out of the ordinary.
‘Anyone with CCTV or doorbell surveillance footage who has not yet contacted the police is requested to review it for anything of significance.’
