The Reading and Leeds festivals have unveiled their inaugural headliners, featuring a range of first-time performers including Chappell Roan, who is set to grace the stage next summer.
Having experienced a remarkable year following the launch of her debut album, The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess, this will mark Roan’s initial festival headlining performance.
Rapper Travis Scott, celebrated for his electrifying stage presence and extravagant shows, will also be taking on his first headlining role at Reading and Leeds.
Scott’s performance is being heralded as a “European exclusive”.
With seven albums under their belt, Bring Me The Horizon will also be making their headlining debut, despite having previously participated in the festival.
Frontman Oli Sykes remarked: “We are determined to deliver without question the most spectacular show of our lives.”
“This will be our sole performance in the UK next year and the concluding European show of the NEX GEN tour before the band takes a hiatus, so if you wish to see BMTH next year, this genuinely is your singular opportunity. We’re eagerly anticipating it.”
Following the success of his UK number-one album, Unreal Unearth, and his first number one single, Too Sweet, Hozier will also be featured as a headline act.
After debuting at Reading and Leeds in 2014, his 2025 headlining appearance will be a UK festival exclusive.
Additional artists on the lineup include two-time Brit Award winner Becky Hill, rapper AJ Tracey, Rudimental, the pop group The Kooks, and the rock band Bloc Party.
