A startling video captures the moment a man reclined on a mattress in the middle of the street for a nap—while vehicles navigated around him.
The bizarre incident was recorded from an upper window as the man chose to rest on a major road in northern London.
Clad in a vivid yellow jacket and a beanie, he raised his head to glance at oncoming traffic, yet no one—including a few pedestrians—bothered to check if he was okay.
One passerby crossed the pedestrian crossing adjacent to him but simply proceeded on their way.
Multiple cyclists zipped by, taking notice, yet chose not to stop, while some drivers hardly even slowed down.
One automobile simply paused near him before ultimately choosing to maneuver around his street-side mattress.
The recording occurred in Harlesden, near its boundary with Kensal Green, and was shared on X earlier today.
The user remarked: ‘Bro really taking a nap in the middle of the road in Harlesden.’
Someone responded: ‘Bro really sleeping in the street in Kensal Green. I assure you it’s not Harlesden, it’s really not that bad.’
Another individual labeled him as an ‘idiot,’ while one joked: ‘He’s like a human speed bump—should be appreciated.’
