Recently, new footage has surfaced featuring a man whom police wish to interview regarding an unresolved murder that took place four years ago.
The Metropolitan Police is additionally offering a £20,000 reward for any information that leads to the prosecution of the individual responsible for the murder of Jason Diallo.
The 30-year-old was riding his bicycle along Balfour Road in Ilford in November 2020 when a vehicle struck him, resulting in him being shot in the head.
Today, Scotland Yard unveiled a clip of a man they wish to interview regarding the death of the father-of-two and the injury of another individual who was shot approximately 15 minutes later, roughly five miles away.

We have maintained our drive in this investigation to ensure that those accountable for the murder of Jason Diallo and the serious injury of another individual are brought to justice,’ stated Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen, the lead investigator.

Two individuals – Mushin Mohamed, aged 28, and Tyrelle Joseph, aged 24 – were sentenced to 35 years and seven years in prison, respectively, at the Old Bailey in 2022 for their involvement in the shootings.
However, investigators from the Met’s Specialist Crime North believe there are two additional suspects – including the shooter – who remain at large.
Det Ch Insp Allen indicated that there is no indication to suggest that either victim was ‘known to one another or to the convicted individuals, reinforcing the notion that this was a completely unprovoked and violent incident’.
Mr. Diallo was shot around 10 PM on November 1 and, tragically, died at the scene despite the valiant efforts of emergency personnel.

The other victim – Marcus Codrington – was shot in the shoulder around 10:30 PM on Garvary Road, Canning Town.
He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot injuries and informed officers that he had been pursued by three men in a vehicle who opened fire on him.
Mohamed was ultimately found guilty of murder and attempted murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum requirement of 35 years.
Joseph was adjudged guilty of aiding an offender and handed a seven-year prison sentence after being recognized as someone who helped Mohamed and the unidentified assailants escape the scene.
In a statement post-sentencing in 2022, Mrs. Jason Diallo, who chose to remain anonymous, expressed that the night of her husband’s death will forever haunt her.
She remarked: ‘Jason was a dedicated father to our two children, the youngest just weeks old when Jason was tragically murdered.
‘They will eternally bear the consequences of the actions of those who took their father’s life.
‘He was his mother’s sole son and a caring brother to his younger sister, both of whom are profoundly affected and miss him terribly every single day.
‘For these individuals to slaughter a completely innocent stranger, who they had no connection with, in such a merciless and cowardly way is beyond understanding, and although no sentence can alleviate our suffering, it provides some solace knowing they will spend many years of their lives incarcerated.’
