Authorities in Ireland have initiated a homicide investigation following the disappearance of an eight-year-old boy from his residence.
Kyran Durnin was last observed in Drogheda, County Louth, on 30 August, and is now presumed deceased, according to Irish law enforcement.
“In spite of thorough inquiries conducted thus far, we have yet to locate Kyran, discover any leads regarding his present condition, or uncover any indications that he is alive,” they expressed in an official statement.
“After ongoing investigations, the police now assert that Kyran is missing and presumed dead.
“A homicide investigation has been initiated.”
No apprehensions have taken place as of yet.
