A suspect has been apprehended in relation to the demise of a man as part of a homicide inquiry in South Lanarkshire.
David Graham, aged 38, was assaulted while strolling alone in General’s Gate, Uddingston, at approximately 7:35 PM on Sunday.
Mr. Graham, a resident of Cambuslang, was transported to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.
Police Scotland initiated a murder investigation earlier this week and have now detained a 29-year-old male in connection to the incident.
A spokesperson for the force stated: “Investigations are still proceeding.”
