Scunthorpe – A Doncaster man is among nine individuals charged following a large-scale brawl that broke out on Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe, during the early hours of September 8.
Bradley Mills, 32, of Beckett Road, Doncaster, was among those charged with violent disorder after Humberside Police responded to reports of a street fight. Alongside Mills, several Scunthorpe residents, including Charlie Shipp, 20, of Grange Lane South; Ewan Payne, 20, of Lilac Avenue; Rajinder Chatha, 45, of Osprey Drive; Kaden Allison, 20, of Burringham Road; and Dylan Brookfield, 35, were also charged.
All five men were remanded in custody and appeared in court this morning, Wednesday, September 11. Among the charges, three of the accused were also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
In a separate hearing, three other men involved in the incident—Finn-Leigh Towse, 20, of St Margarets Walk; Jack McNiece, 28, of Mary Sumner Way; and James Brace, 35, of Burnham Road—also appeared in court. Brace faces two counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
Following the court proceedings, eight of the nine men have been released on bail. The case continues as Humberside Police investigations continue.
