Morrisons offers several free food schemes until 14 July, including the return of ‘Ask for Henry’, a variety of free children’s meals, and complimentary doughnuts. The variety is sure to excite and intrigue you.
The supermarket has returned the ‘Ask for Henry’ scheme, where anyone who ‘asks for Henry’ receives a free jacket potato with Heinz Cheesy Beanz. According to Heinz, director of meals and insights Alessandra de Dreuille, “Anyone who feels they need a warming meal” is encouraged to visit their local Morrisons cafe.
The collaboration between Morrisons and Heinz initially introduced the ‘Ask for Henry’ scheme in 2022 before bringing it back the following year. Morrisons Cafe’s senior buying manager, Chris Strong, said, “I’m really pleased to bring the initiative back.” He added, “Customers continue to tell us how grateful they were for our previous ‘Ask for Henry’ initiatives. We know that the busy summer months can add to customers’ financial pressures, especially with extra mouths to feed, so we’re pleased to be partnering with Heinz and offering this delicious meal.”
FREE JAM DOUGHNUTS ALSO AVAILABLE
Customers purchasing a hot drink at Morrisons cafes over the next few weeks will receive a free jam doughnut for the supermarket’s 125th-anniversary celebration. Hot drink options include tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
Families can also benefit from the kids eat free deal, where children enjoy a complimentary meal with the purchase of an adult meal worth at least £5. The offer is available every day at Morrisons cafes. Kids can choose from chicken nuggets, chips and beans, bangers and mash, or mac ‘n’ cheese, typically priced at £3.50 each.
