A Scottish entrepreneur who vanished in Kenya eight days prior has been discovered deceased.
Campbell Scott was last spotted participating in a conference at the JW Marriot Hotel in Nairobi on 16 February.
He held the position of senior director at the credit scoring company Fico, located in their London office.
The organization stated that law enforcement had recognized a body and initiated an inquiry.
A representative commented: “Fico can confirm that authorities in Nairobi have identified the body of Campbell Scott, one of our team members.
“Campbell went missing last Sunday while on a professional trip to Nairobi. We are refraining from sharing additional information as the matter is currently being handled by the police.
“We are heartbroken by this heartbreaking news. Campbell was a prominent figure in our international Scores division.
“He joined Fico in 2014 and played a vital role in extending Scores into new markets and enhancing our business relationships with existing collaborators.
“We grieve for his loss and will sincerely miss his wit and compassion. Our thoughts remain with Campbell’s family and friends.”
