A man who passed away after tumbling down an escalator at Waterloo Station may have been shoved, his relatives have informed the authorities.
Ian Airlie, aged 48, was discovered deceased at his residence in Greenwich on 10 October of the previous year. He had fallen down the escalator at the Jubilee Line of the station nearly a month prior, around 5.05pm on 15 September.
Authorities suspect he interacted with several individuals following the fall and are now urging them to come forward.
He communicated with security personnel at the station, informing them that he had collided with a woman of South Asian descent. After disembarking from the Tube, he reportedly conversed with a woman on a bus departing from North Greenwich underground station. She provided him with a tissue to address the blood above his left eye.
Authorities are urging both these individuals and anyone else who witnessed the incident to step forward.
Mr. Airlie was attired in a black T-shirt and light grey joggers. He was carrying a turquoise and grey Mountain Warehouse backpack on his back, along with a medium-sized black suitcase.
