A man has faced court proceedings accused of murdering two women on Christmas Day.
Jazwell Brown, aged 49, stands accused of the deaths of Joanne Pearson, 38, and Teohna Grant, 24, following a suspected stabbing incident in Bletchley, Milton Keynes at approximately 6:30 PM on Wednesday.
In court, Brown donned a grey tracksuit and only spoke to provide his name, age, and address before being remanded in custody.
He has not entered a plea and is scheduled to appear again at Luton Crown Court on Tuesday.
A male and a teenage boy sustained significant injuries during the episode but are now reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.
Early reports suggested that a dog perished in the incident; however, law enforcement has since clarified that the dog survived.
Brown, residing at Santa Cruz Avenue in Bletchley, faces two charges of murder and two charges of attempted murder.
Additionally, he is charged with one count each of possessing a knife or sharp object in a public place and causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, specifically a Staffordshire bull terrier.
