A nurse from south London has been suspended after compelling her colleagues to view photographs from her ‘provocative’ photo shoot.
Timea Buzas was on duty at the St Nicholas vaccination center in Sutton in December 2021 when she shared the images with her coworkers.
A marshall at the center stated during the fitness to practice hearing that they were approached by Buzas in a staff area while with another colleague and asked whether they wished to see the photographs.
Despite both declining with a ‘no thanks’, Buzas proceeded to display three photos on her smartphone, according to a detailed report on the case.
The report further noted: ‘The panel concluded that [Buzas] exhibited images of herself that were of a sexual nature to Colleague B and Colleague C, intending to provoke a reaction from them regarding the images.’
Both colleagues were described as ‘significantly less experienced’ than Buzas, and there existed no prior friendship, as reported by the Standard.
Just days before, Buzas had exhibited aggressive behavior towards a patient and even declined to administer a Covid-19 vaccine while stationed at the Roehampton Vaccination Centre.
According to a witness statement from the patient, Buzas ‘turned hostile and confrontational.’
They recounted: ‘Ms. Buzas appeared ready for a confrontation, which was the last thing my fiancé and I wanted.’
‘Ms. Buzas approached us with a fast-paced, aggressive demeanor (swinging her arms and stomping), similar to how she had escorted us to another area.’
‘Ms. Buzas was quite brusque, waving my GP letter in my face and providing no explanations whatsoever.’
During this altercation, Buzas reportedly ripped posters from a nearby wall.
The patient added: ‘Ms. Buzas stormed into the area, moving rapidly and strutting inside, and began tearing down posters, leading us to believe she would be discussing them with us.’

‘My fiancé and I couldn’t discern what the posters were, as Ms. Buzas did not allow us to read them.’
Buzas was also reported to have shared her personal phone number with a patient under 18 years old and sent them messages adorned with love hearts.
She has been suspended for an additional nine months, having already been served an interim suspension order for 18 months.
In her defense, she was characterized as ‘a compassionate and dedicated nurse who has displayed competence and safe practices in the past.’
The panel also noted that she felt irritated and regretted her actions at the Roehampton Vaccination Centre.
