A woman has gained online fame for her clever Christmas tree decorating method, which she claims has permitted her to spend more quality time with her family.
Carrie Williams, who resides in Mississippi, has managed to significantly reduce her effort by utilizing an inexpensive roll of cling film she purchased on Amazon.
Carrie, who adores Christmas, mentioned that she devoted ‘the entire day’ to adorning three Christmas trees, in addition to setting up other festive decorations.
This year, she declared, ‘I opted to wrap my trees—ornaments, lights, and all—in plastic wrap. I found a gigantic roll with handles on Amazon and securely wrapped it.’
The family kept the wrapped tree stored in their bonus room until December arrived.
‘When December arrived, I took them down, sliced off the plastic, fluffed the trees and bows, and plugged them in,’ she articulated.
Carrie documented the entire process and shared it on TikTok, where it quickly gained traction, racking up over 750,000 likes.
‘It saved me so much time. Now, I have the entire month to enjoy with my family rather than spending it decorating,’ she expressed.
This tip has been praised as brilliant by many, yet not everyone is convinced—one user remarked that the best experience of Christmas is decorating the tree.
Carrie explained, ‘My children are all adults now, and I have three trees, so it has become quite a headache. I want to finish everything so that I can truly enjoy Christmas.’
The mother is not alone in her quest for a simpler Christmas. A parent from Suffolk recently provided a brilliant hack to create the perfect gift for guests at Christmas that’s also budget-friendly.
Kara Southall, aged 40, demonstrated how anyone can enhance festive candles with just three items, which social media users are thoroughly enjoying. The best part? The entire gift costs less than £2.
In her video, Kara from Suffolk used a candle, greaseproof paper, a napkin, and a hairdryer to craft a reindeer-themed candle that makes a charming gift.
