A four-year-old child has tragically passed away following a collision with a bus in the West Midlands.
Authorities are requesting dash cam footage of the incident, which transpired shortly before 4:55 PM on Friday, on High Street in Tipton, Sandwell.
“The child was discovered with severe injuries, and heartbreakingly, there was nothing that could be done to rescue him,” stated West Midlands Police in an announcement.
“Our condolences are with his family during this incredibly difficult time, and we are committed to offering them support. We understand how profoundly sorrowful this is for everyone involved.”
“The bus driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with our investigation.”
“We urge anyone who was in the vicinity at that time and has not yet spoken to our officers to come forward.”
“We are particularly seeking any dash cam footage that could aid our investigation into the events that unfolded.”
