A 42-year-old individual has passed away after a dog attack in east London, according to law enforcement.
Authorities were summoned to Shirley Road in Stratford at 4:53 AM on Wednesday due to reports of a man suffering severe injuries.
He was transported to a hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Leanne McDonnell, 32, faces charges for owning a dog that was dangerously uncontrolled and caused injuries resulting in death; neglecting her duty, as the custodian of an animal, to safeguard its welfare; and possessing a fighting dog.
Additionally, she is charged with three counts of owning a dog dangerously out of control leading to no injuries, related to a different occurrence on Monday, November 18.
The dog involved in both situations has been confiscated by the authorities.
McDonnell is currently held in custody, scheduled to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
