A search operation is underway following a shooting in west London that severely injured an eight-year-old girl and a man on Sunday.
Authorities are soliciting assistance and information after receiving reports of gunfire on Southern Row, Ladbroke Grove, just after 5:30 pm.
In a public appeal, Superintendent Owen Renowden, who oversees law enforcement for Kensington and Chelsea, stated: “Did you hear any gunfire around 5:30 pm yesterday evening? Did you witness anyone escaping from the location?”
The 34-year-old male and the eight-year-old female were transported to a medical facility. The girl is currently in stable condition.
A 32-year-old female was also admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
Superintendent Renowden remarked: “This is a shocking event that has resulted in serious injuries to two individuals, including a young girl who is, thankfully, in a stable condition this morning.
“I urge the public who may have been present in the area at the time of the incident to come forward.”
“We are eager to hear from anyone possessing any knowledge related to this case. Your input is crucial, regardless of how trivial you might perceive it to be.”
