Law enforcement officials are actively seeking a missing teenage beauty pageant contestant who was last seen over a week ago at a Polish airport.
18-year-old Ania Czopinski was last recorded at the Krakow John Paul II International Airport in Balice on November 11, and has not been located since.
The British-born adolescent is reportedly of Polish descent but has never set foot in the country and lacks proficiency in the language.
Security cameras captured Ania traversing the airport terminal while dragging a suitcase with a bag on top last Monday, dressed in grey distressed jeans and a black coat.
According to the police, she is believed to have traveled without a passport or a mobile device.
A profile provided by Polish authorities described Ania as being approximately 160-170cm tall, possessing a slender physique and long, dark blonde hair.
Ania, who was named a semi-finalist for Miss Teen GB earlier this year, had previously been reported missing in August when she failed to return from the Leeds Festival, according to the Sun.
Her anxious parents sought assistance on social media following her disappearance while attempting to secure a ride back to her residence in Whitley Bay, North Tyneside.
Her father, Stephen Czopinski, posted: ‘I’m pleased to announce Ania is safe and sound and has returned home. We truly value your concern and kind wishes.’
Previously, he remarked: ‘She was still in Leeds during my last conversation with her.
‘I’ve been informed by a friend that Ania was seeking a ride around 11am.
‘Someone declined her a lift and she returned to the campsite. Her friends have all gone home. She is alone out there, and I am extremely worried.
‘I sent her a text, but I can’t be sure if she is receiving them.
‘The last memory I have was hugging her before I left for work while she was still asleep.
‘She’s a teenager; I leave very early and usually kiss her on the forehead, and most times she tells me to stop.
‘On Thursday, she woke up, hugged me, and said, ‘I love you, Dad’.
