Bradford City:
Doyle: Made a crucial second-half save to deny Hugill. 6
Diabate: Needed to stay alert when facing Hungbo. 6
Huntington: Received his first starting opportunity. Adequate performance. 6
Shepherd: Did not cover himself in glory for the Millers’ opening goal. Exited with what seemed to be a hamstring concern late in the first half. 5
Halliday: Played as an inverted wing-back on the left for a good portion of the match. 6
Evans: At least he benefited from the experience. 6
J Walker: Connected play effectively at times and was notably involved. 7
Pointon: Slightly subdued, but delivered one excellent cross for Oliver. 6
Oduor: Shifted to the right before reverting back left towards the end. Lacked impact. 5
Sanderson: Showed enthusiasm and effort, even if things weren’t always going his way. 6
Smith: Needed to contribute more. 5

Rotherham United
Phillips: Generally solid but had a couple of distribution mishaps. 6
Odoffin: Led the team from right-back and set a commendable example. 6
Jules: Competent, aside from one mistake. 6
Humphreys: Occasionally careless and risky in his play. 5
James: Managed to keep Oduor relatively quiet. 6
Hatton: Assigned a midfield role. Showed flashes of ability, especially with his speed. 6
Kelly: Showed signs of improvement from Oakwell. Received a booking. 6
McWilliams: Scored his first goal for the club, marking an impressive return to the squad. Positive performance. 7
Holmes: Found some good spaces at times. 6
Hugill: Battled with the City defense as expected. Came close early in the second half with a header. 6
Hungbo: Energetic player and assisted the opener with some excellent wing play. 7
