According to local authorities, at least 10 individuals have lost their lives following an assault on a bar in central Mexico.
Four assailants equipped with “long firearms” arrived at the Los Cantaritos bar in Queretaro on Saturday evening before they opened fire on patrons inside, stated Juan Luis Ferrusca, the director of the local public security department, via social media.
Mr. Ferrusca reported that the deceased comprise seven men and three women, with an additional seven individuals sustaining injuries.
One suspect has been apprehended, and the vehicle used in the crime was discovered burned and abandoned in close proximity.
