Two additional individuals have been accused of the homicide of a 15-year-old boy who was attacked with a zombie knife in southeast London.
Daejaun Campbell succumbed to his wounds following an assault on Eglinton Road in Woolwich on 22 September.
Marko Balaz, 18, from Abbey Wood, was presented in custody on Saturday at Bromley Magistrates’ Court facing murder charges, as reported by the Metropolitan Police.
He has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow, having been arrested on Wednesday, 25 September.
A 17-year-old male is also set to appear at Bromley Youth Court today on murder charges. He was detained on Friday.
Jacob Losiewicz, 18, of Abbey Wood, who was charged with murder last week, will also present himself at the Old Bailey today.
According to the Metropolitan Police, Daejaun’s family has been informed of the latest developments.
A prohibition on possessing zombie-style knives and machetes was enacted last week, just two days following the stabbing incident.
This measure was implemented in an effort to curtail knife-related offenses. Advocates, including actor Idris Elba, have campaigned for the ban on such large blades.
