Reports indicate that four individuals, including two British citizens, were rescued from a distressed vessel after spending four days adrift at sea.
The men were said to be in a state of dehydration when they were hoisted to safety by a helicopter approximately 60 miles north of Tenerife.
They issued a distress call upon realizing their boat was taking on water.
A vessel flying the Panamanian flag, known locally as Green Power, reportedly responded by proceeding to the coordinates they were at, alongside a Civil Guard ship.
The four were flown to Tenerife South airport and are believed to have subsequently been transported to a nearby hospital for medical evaluation.
In August, a newborn was rescued after being stranded on a Greek island for three days without water.
Human traffickers had abandoned a group of refugees on the banks of the Aegean Sea, including pregnant women and infants, leaving them without sustenance.
The baby boy, reported to be just 50 days old, was among the numerous individuals trapped in a hilly region.
As their supplies diminished, his parents resorted to utilizing seawater to prepare his milk.
Finally, after three days, authorities rescued the infant, while others were evacuated from the area by helicopter.
