A woman has been accused of murdering another woman in Tower Hamlets.
Hope Rowe, aged 32, is scheduled to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court later this morning. She is also facing charges related to the possession of a sharp weapon.
Authorities received a report around 1:17 AM on September 15 regarding a woman with stab wounds in the entrance area of an apartment building located on Duckett Street.
The London Ambulance Service was also on the scene, but sadly, the woman was declared deceased upon arrival.
Police have stated that while formal identification has yet to occur, they are confident of her identity as 31-year-old Charlotte Lawler.
The next of kin have been notified and are receiving assistance from specially trained officers.
A 37-year-old male, who was taken into custody on suspicion of aiding an offender, has since been released on bail.
A crime scene has been established at the location, and investigations into the incident are ongoing.
