Following a violent incident in Christchurch, Dorset, two individuals have been apprehended after a minor girl was wounded.
Reports from the Bournemouth Daily Echo indicate that the victim is approximately eight years old.
The young girl was swiftly transported to a medical facility, where it is reassured that her injuries are not fatal.
Authorities were informed of the stabbing incident transpiring at a residence in Glider Close, Christchurch, at 5.45 pm on Tuesday.
Law enforcement took into custody a man in his twenties, hailing from Christchurch, suspected of inflicting serious bodily harm.
Furthermore, a local woman in her fifties was also detained under suspicion of aiding an individual involved in the offense.
