Patrons of the amusement park were stranded in mid-air when a funfair ride malfunctioned at Skegness.
Approximately 25 individuals had to be rescued from the Super Trooper ride at Skegness Pleasure Beach around 6 pm by emergency services.
The rescue mission was successfully completed by 8 pm.
Lincolnshire Police reported they were dealing with an incident at Skegness Pleasure Beach where a ride malfunction had left several people stranded mid-air.
Authorities mentioned, ‘Fire and ambulance services have also responded.’
They requested the public to steer clear of the area to aid the emergency services in ensuring the safety of the individuals on the ride during the rescue operation.
‘No significant injuries have been reported at this time.’
Everyone was confirmed to have been safely rescued by 8 pm.
