An incident occurred at a music event in Germany where a Ferris wheel caught fire, resulting in approximately 30 people sustaining injuries.
Photographs depicted the ride engulfed in flames at Highfield Festival at Stormthaler Lake, near Leipzig, during Saturday evening, with smoke rising into the sky.
At around 9 pm, two cabins on the Ferris wheel ignited, although the exact cause of the fire remains unknown.

“The individuals affected are currently receiving medical care and are in stable condition given the circumstances,” stated the festival officials.
They further stated: “Our coordination with the fire department, police, and emergency services is closely ongoing.”
An estimated 30 individuals suffered injuries, as reported by the Associated Press.
The two engulfed cabins were entirely destroyed by the fire, with a fire department spokesperson indicating that the situation is now under control.
Reports from the media revealed that among the injured were four law enforcement officers.
During the occurrence of the fire, German rapper Ski Aggu was performing, who later expressed his astonishment and dismay on Instagram over the incident.

He remarked, “I am completely shocked and saddened by the fire incident on the Ferris wheel during my performance at Highfield.
“I received instructions to continue the show and not cause panic before engaging in dialogue with you.
“My primary concern was to prevent the situation from escalating further, which thankfully was successful.
“I appreciate your composed demeanor which potentially averted a more catastrophic outcome.
“The prompt response and efforts of the responders were crucial in preventing further escalation.”
Despite the earlier incident, the festival organizers announced the closure of the Ferris wheel shortly after 10 pm, allowing stage performances to resume.
They conveyed, “Please continue to support one another! Your cooperation is commendable. The entertainment continues as normal,”.
