An extensive search has been initiated for a convicted killer who is currently evading authorities in Northern Ireland.
David McCord is currently considered as “illegally at large,” as stated by the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
The 54-year-old is serving a life imprisonment term, reportedly for the murder of his partner back in 2003.
He was under the supervision of prison officers at an address in the Crumlin Road vicinity of north Belfast on Friday when he disappeared.
McCord was last spotted on Castlereagh Road at approximately 4.30pm clad in a green coat and black sweatpants, carrying a red carry bag.

The authorities have requested individuals with any information to step forward but cautioned the public against approaching him.
Furthermore, officers made a direct plea to McCord to surrender himself.
