This Halloween, Castle Howard, Yorkshire’s most enchanting stately home, is set to become the ultimate haunted haven, all thanks to a magical collaboration with Great British Bake Off star and self-proclaimed queen of the macabre, Helena Garcia!
Helena, who won the hearts of GBBO fans in 2019 with her bewitching baking style, is joining forces with Castle Howard for a spellbinding series of events that will send shivers down your spine. Famous for her ghoulishly good treats and her whimsical children’s book, *My Mummy is a Witch*, Helena is bringing her darkly delightful flair to Castle Howard’s Halloween festivities this year.
From late August through October 2024, Castle Howard will transform into a Halloween wonderland. One of the star attractions? A Spooky Afternoon Tea like no other, where Helena and Castle Howard’s executive head chef, Nathan Richardson-Kelly, will conjure up fiendish delights such as Pumpkin Patch Cakes, Devil’s Fingers, and Bat Scones slathered in ‘berried alive’ jam. Expect the unexpected as Helena weaves her magic into every morsel!
