Further Appeal for Information on Missing Doncaster Woman, Christine
South Yorkshire Police have renewed their appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Christine, a 66-year-old woman from Doncaster who has been missing since Monday, August 12.
Christine was last seen in the Wheatley area around 5:30 p.m. on the day of her disappearance. Since then, police have received multiple reports of sightings in the vicinity, particularly in the Town Field and Elmfield Park areas.
On August 13, a woman matching Christine’s description was reportedly seen around 1:00 p.m., walking from Elmfield Park towards The Salutation pub. The following day, August 14, a second sighting was reported at approximately 9:45 a.m., with a woman fitting Christine’s description seen walking across Elmfield Park towards the Florida Tanning salon.
Christine is described as a white woman, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with long grey hair. She was last seen wearing a black vest top with a floral pattern and orange shorts. Christine is also known to frequent the Armthorpe area.
Today, an increased police presence is noticeable around Wheatley as officers continue their search efforts. Authorities are increasingly concerned for Christine’s welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen her to come forward.
