A fire has broken out in a residential building in south London, with flames and smoke visible from the uppermost apartments.
The video footage captures thick plumes of smoke emerging from two flats on the tenth and eleventh floors in St Marks Square, Bromley.
This morning, eight fire engines rushed to the scene.
London Fire Brigade reported: ‘A dozen fire engines and approximately 80 firefighters are currently combatting a fire at a block of flats on St Marks Square in Bromley.
‘The tenth and eleventh floors are the areas where the fire is currently active.
‘A 32-metre turntable ladder from the Brigade is in use at the site to assist in battling the fire from an elevated position.
‘Emergency services received the first of 16 distress calls at 9:52 am. Fire crews from Bromley, Beckenham, Woodside, and neighboring fire stations are present at the scene.’
