Search Launched for Missing Liversedge Brothers, Aged 10 and 13
Kirklees, August 13 – A search has been launched for two young brothers from Liversedge who have gone missing. Mohammad Ahmad, 10, and Yousuf Ahmad, 13, were last seen leaving their home on Monday morning, August 12, around 9:40 a.m.
West Yorkshire Police have expressed serious concerns for the boys’ welfare and are appealing to the public for assistance locating them. Authorities believe that the brothers are together.
Yousuf Ahmad, the elder of the two, is described as a British Pakistani male, standing approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall. He wore glasses and was last seen dressed in a Lyle and Scott grey hoodie, North Face trousers, and black trainers.
His younger brother, Mohammad Ahmad, is about 4 feet 7 inches tall and wears square glasses. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers with a white stripe.
The police are urging anyone with information on the boys’ whereabouts, or anyone who may have seen them since they went missing, to contact Kirklees police by calling 101. Information can also be provided via the live chat feature on the West Yorkshire Police website, quoting log number 0489 from Monday, August 12.
The community is urged to remain vigilant as the search continues.
