An arrest was made at Heathrow Airport of Katie Price after she failed to attend a court hearing related to her bankruptcy cases.
The 46-year-old from Surrey was detained upon her return to the United Kingdom.
The former model known for glamour is now in custody at a police station in west London and is expected to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice on Friday.
On Thursday night, she was seen next to a police vehicle wearing protective gear around her surgical wounds.
Reports suggest she had undergone surgery in Turkey following the circulation of photos showing her with bandages on her bruised face by a pool in a hotel.
In April, Price was warned of potential arrest should she continue to miss court appearances.
Judge Catherine Burton, from the Insolvency and Companies Court, issued a warrant for her arrest in July, emphasizing Price had been explicitly told she must appear.
Price was scheduled to answer financial inquiries from lawyers – she had been declared bankrupt in November 2019 and again in March of this year.
Defending her absence last week, Price insisted she was not evading responsibilities and explained on Instagram that she couldn’t attend due to overseas filming commitments.
In a detailed social media post, Price stated the media was attempting to cause “ongoing embarrassment to myself and family,” but declared she was “neither humiliated nor ashamed,” further adding, “I must continue my work to meet these bankruptcy mandates.”
Issuing the arrest warrant, Judge Burton criticized Price for not providing reasons for her absence, stating, “she lacks a valid excuse,” and adding, “The reason behind her non-appearance today is immaterial.”

Judge Burton further criticized Price for offering only “fragmented cooperation” and failing to provide “essential details” regarding her bankruptcy cases.
Price maintained she was “making every effort… to resolve matters amidst exceptionally challenging circumstances.”
During a February hearing, she was instructed to allocate 40% of her monthly earnings from the adult website OnlyFans to the trustee for the subsequent three years, linked to her initial bankruptcy.
Consequently, she faced a second bankruptcy in March due to an outstanding tax debt exceeding £750,000.
Last October, she expressed frustration over repeated legal threats and mentioned she would willingly go to prison to put an end to the ordeal.
Price also voiced her disapproval of cosmetic procedures among young women, stating that procedures such as breast enhancements and facial fillers are highly undesirable.
