The loved ones of a future bride who lost her life in a motorcycle accident have honored her memory.
Shelby Smith, 28, from Swindon, tragically lost her life after a collision with a car in the Cotswolds on July 31 while she was riding her Kawasaki ZR motorbike.
The car’s driver, a 78-year-old woman, is currently hospitalized at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Shelby’s relatives have now expressed their feelings in tribute to her, describing her as ‘brimming with aspirations’.
Her family conveyed their deep sorrow as they paid homage to her.
They shared: ‘Shelby was sadly taken away from us at the young age of 28.
‘She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, fiancée, and friend, full of vitality, love, and joy.
‘Shelby was fiercely devoted to her loved ones and overflowing with aspirations for more adventures and journeys.
‘Her radiant smile could illuminate even the dreariest nights, and her laughter was so contagious that one couldn’t help but join in.
‘Her independence and courage in everything she pursued and aspired to attain will continue through those closest to her. She departed from our lives too soon and will be greatly missed, remembered daily, and forever loved.
‘We extend gratitude to all who have shared comforting words and laid flowers in her memory.
‘We request privacy and consideration for our family and those who were dearest to Shelby as we cope with the indescribable sorrow of losing a cherished individual brighter than the sun.’
