Kind attendees of a wedding rushed to assist when a child was collided with by a vehicle outside the bustling venue.
The child is reported to have been struck after hastily ‘dashing into the street’ outside the Eastern Pavilion wedding locale in Oldham, Greater Manchester, this afternoon.
Details regarding the child’s age have not been disclosed.
The injuries sustained are believed to be non-life-changing or life-threatening.
Witnesses recounted how guests swiftly emerged to investigate the situation, as per a nearby worker speaking to Manchester Evening News.
Photographs captured their immediate response by the roadside, where they were swiftly joined by law enforcement and medical responders.
Emergency services were summoned to the scene on Featherstall Road South just after 4 pm on Sunday.
The bustling thoroughfare was shut down for about an hour, with two ambulances and multiple police vehicles deployed at the site.
No individuals have been apprehended in connection with the incident.
A representative from Greater Manchester Police mentioned: ‘There was a road traffic incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 4.19 pm.
‘The injuries are believed to be not life-threatening or life altering. No arrests have been executed.’
