In Peel Region, to the west of Toronto, authorities reported instances of manhole covers lifting due to heavy rainfall, advising caution to drivers.
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority issued a flood alert, cautioning individuals about the hazardous conditions of shorelines, rivers, and streams in the Greater Toronto Area.
As southern Ontario experienced a combination of heavy rain and thunderstorms, Environment Canada issued rainfall warnings encompassing the Greater Toronto Area and its surroundings.
