Traffic Arrangements
Local residents have expressed their displeasure as roads near the venue, the upscale Jio World Convention Center owned by the Ambanis in the city’s business district, will be accessible solely to “event vehicles” between 1 pm and midnight from July 12 to July 15.
Mumbai, known for its traffic congestion, is facing snarl-ups, especially during the monsoon season.
The vicinity near the venue is already experiencing traffic slowdowns, with elaborate adornments of decorative lights and red flowers enhancing the surroundings.
The trees outside Ambani’s 27-story Antilia mansion in Mumbai are festooned with marigolds and vibrant yellow lights.
Police have categorized the celebrations as a “public event” due to the inclusion of renowned international and Indian personalities.
