Extravagant Indian Wedding
An opulent Indian wedding is set to captivate the bustling financial hub of the nation with VIPs coming from all corners of the globe.
Among the esteemed guests attending the wedding of Mukesh Ambani’s son, Anant Ambani, Asia’s wealthiest individual, in Mumbai, are reportedly Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, and David Beckham.
The extravagant festivities span over four days, culminating in the nuptials of Anant Ambani and his longtime partner Radhika Merchant, both aged 29, following a year of celebratory events.
Earlier celebrations included performances by Rihanna in a three-day affair in March, as well as Katy Perry and Pitbull entertaining 800 guests on a European cruise in May, and a private concert by Justin Bieber just last week.
Rajan Mehra, CEO of Club One Air, mentioned that the Ambanis have chartered three Falcon-2000 jets from his company to transport wedding guests and anticipate over 100 private planes to be utilized.
“Guests are arriving from various locations, with each aircraft making multiple trips across the country,” he stated.
Celebrity Attendees
Aside from the aforementioned, other anticipated attendees include Mike Tyson, US wrestling icon and actor John Cena, and Jean-Claude Van Damme, as stated by a Reuters news agency source.

Event Details
The wedding on Friday will incorporate traditional Hindu customs, followed by a two-day reception. A “special reception” for the Ambani household staff is scheduled on Monday, according to documents outlining the arrangements.
Traffic Arrangements
Local residents have expressed their displeasure as roads near the venue, the upscale Jio World Convention Center owned by the Ambanis in the city’s business district, will be accessible solely to “event vehicles” between 1 pm and midnight from July 12 to July 15.
Mumbai, known for its traffic congestion, is facing snarl-ups, especially during the monsoon season.
The vicinity near the venue is already experiencing traffic slowdowns, with elaborate adornments of decorative lights and red flowers enhancing the surroundings.
The trees outside Ambani’s 27-story Antilia mansion in Mumbai are festooned with marigolds and vibrant yellow lights.
Police have categorized the celebrations as a “public event” due to the inclusion of renowned international and Indian personalities.
