A man and a child have been killed in a horror crash involving three vehicles in Surrey.
A grey Range Rover, blue BMW, and white Audi all collided with each other after 8.20pm on Sunday on Red Road, Lightwater.
The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, and a child, who was travelling with him have died, police have confirmed.
A Surrey Police spokesperson said: ‘Their next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.’
Two other people were rushed to hospital with ‘serious’ injuries.
A 62-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and causing death by driving without due care while unfit through drink or drugs.
Red Road was closed between the junctions for The Maultway and MacDonald Road for a few hours while the emergency services responded.
